Green and Yellow Winter Wool Scarf
 
This wool was a delight to spin. I bought the roving from a friend who hand-painted the wool. It had chunks of color - greens, yellow, purples. I spun all the greens together as well as the yellow and purples. I then took the path of color that she had laid down and then plyed the yarn. So, the scarf you see if the progression of colors that she originally had in the roving. 
 
I never know how each scarf will end up until I finish it. It's like a mystery waiting to happen! This wool yarn is skin soft to the touch. This scarf goes from light yellow to darker yellow to green - all within one scarf. Versatile.
