Baby, It's cold outside
Yesterday, it was balmy, with temperatures in the high 70's - if not warmer. Today, we woke up to 37 degrees with a wind chill making it feel like 21. Lordy! Time for the fleece-lined jeans, sweatshirt, scarf, coat and gloves to go outside to do chores. The plants are definitely confused. One of my Iris plants was showing off a purple blossom. Embracing the Unpredictable Weather: A Day on the Farm
The Surprising December Weather The date is December 20th. We should be experiencing cold or at least cooler weather. However, today’s high will reach 80 degrees. Just five days ago, we had our first hard freeze. Greg was busy shutting off the water to the barn, moving and covering hay bales, and protecting our outdoor faucets.
