We have Angora Goats that we shear twice a year. That fiber is then washed, combed and picked through to offer the best Mohair that our farm can provide. The fiber length is approximately 3.5" +/-. Some of the locks are curly, some are straighter. I try to provide a little bit of both so there is a range of options to use the fiber for spinning, weaving, crafting and felting.
